We would like to invite your team to participate in the 15th annual VS Athletics APU Meet Of Champions Distance Classic sponsored by VS Athletics, Azusa Pacific University, and Arroyo High School to be held on Saturday, March 22, 2008, on the beautiful Azusa Pacific University all-weather facility.

Our purpose, as always, remains to provide all of your distance runners from the elite runner to the absolute beginner a chance to race against competition that is of equal ability on a world class facility with a world class sponsor for a beautiful custom designed medal.

For your elite runners this meet will give them the opportunity to get fast qualifying times for both the Arcadia and the Mt. Sac Invitationals.

The meet will have the 400, 800, 1600, and 3200 events.

Once again this year all entries will be done on line. There will no paper entries accepted.

Runners will be seeded into heats based on the times you submit. All heats will be finals with medals in each race. It is of utmost importance that coaches be as honest as possible in submitting qualifying times, so each race is fair to all participants. You can update your entries on-line up to the Monday night, March 17th, before the meet.

If there is any way we can make any part of this meet more of a positive experience for you or your athletes, please do not hesitate to call or let us know.

This year we will be attempting to break our own world record set last year of most boys under 5:00 and most girls under 6:00 in the 1600 meters.
